In 1959 Ritchie Valens was on the Winter Dance Party Tour with rock n’ roll legends Buddy Holly and
J. P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson. On February 3, all three tragically died in a plane crash on their way to their next gig. This has come to be known as “The Day the Music Died.” Ritchie was only 17 years old.
His accomplishments at such a young age and in such a short period of time have never been duplicated.
BUT WHAT IF “THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED” … NEVER HAPPENED?
This is the story of Come On, Let’s Go! The Ritchie Valens Musical
